Join us for a captivating journey through Turner: Always Contemporary, a landmark exhibition celebrating 250 years since the birth of JMW Turner—one of Britain’s most visionary artists. This tour offers a unique opportunity to explore Turner’s masterpieces, including oil paintings, sketches, and prints from National Museums Liverpool’s renowned collection.

 What You’ll See

  • A stunning selection of Turner’s works, showcasing his bold approach to landscape, light, and movement.

  • Modern and contemporary pieces by artists such as Claude Monet, Ethel Walker, and Bridget Riley, offering fresh interpretations and connections to Turner’s legacy.

  • Special loaned artworks that enrich the exhibition and highlight Turner’s influence across generations.

Themes to Explore As we move through the galleries, we’ll uncover how Turner’s art speaks to issues still relevant today—climate change, immigration, tourism, and the evolving role of the artist. Expect thought-provoking conversations and new ways of seeing both historical and contemporary art.

Why It’s Special This isn’t just a look back—it’s a celebration of Turner’s enduring relevance. Whether you're an art enthusiast or simply curious, this tour will deepen your appreciation for how one artist’s vision continues to inspire and challenge us, 250 years on. Tickets are priced at £21.00
